A registered valuer with over 40 years’ experience in valuation and real estate sales, Ross brings a wealth of expertise across property evaluations, reports, advice, inspections, analysis and appraisal to our Central North Island office. During his many years in the industry, Ross has developed appreciable skills not just in the material aspects of property valuations and sales, but also in the equally important attendant areas of client consultation, communication and negotiation.

Ross began his career on Auckland’s North Shore with a 10 year tenure at Neil Darroch & Associates (latterly Darroch Ltd) where he became a shareholder and senior valuer, dealing with residential, industrial and lifestyle valuation.

Following a ten-year break, during which he trained in the ministry and took up a pastoral role with Auckland City Church, Ross returned to the property industry through the North Shore office of Ray White. He initially worked as a real estate agent selling all classes of property across Auckland and other provincial centres, then as a valuer of residential and lifestyle holdings with a specialist interest in childcare property. In 2013 Ross moved to the Bay of Plenty to work for 18 months as a senior valuer with Bay Valuation, primarily valuing residential, lifestyle and childcare properties anywhere and everywhere throughout the province. He remains in the Bay of Plenty, and is based in the Prendos Central North Island office.
