Anthony’s almost 30-year career has seen him work across many aspects of the building consultancy industry throughout the UK and New Zealand. In his role at Prendos, he offers repair, refurbishment and strategic asset management advice in respect of residential and commercial property portfolios, providing Engineer to the Contract, Project Management and contract procurement services for building owners and occupiers. He also offers advice on building pathology and defects diagnostics, as well as architectural and remedial design to both public and private sector clients.
Anthony has particular experience in the remediation of highly complex buildings, where he has taken on the role of Building Surveyor, Designer and Engineer to Contract – from inception to completion. Previous projects include building inspections/reports for Southern Response, covering a range of residential and commercial properties following the 2011 Canterbury earthquakes; remedial design, project management and expert witness services for re-cladding works to a 72-unit residential complex; and acting as Landlord’s agent for the repair, maintenance management and refurbishment of a varied commercial portfolio for Prudential.
He also specialises in forensic investigations, technical due diligence, peer reviews, building code compliance, timber remediation/biodeterioration, dispute resolution and expert witness, asset and building maintenance management, and reinstatement and wants of repair or dilapidations.
Anthony’s ability to think critically, clearly articulate complex technical/legal matters and see things from more than one perspective enables him to successfully resolve clients’ issues quickly and compassionately.
